How many rabbits?
Rabbits are naturally sociable creatures and they should always be kept in pairs or groups.
- The best combination for a pair of rabbits is one male and one female.
- Both rabbits should be neutered.
- Neutered males (if they have been neutered for some time) can also be paired up successfully although two females will often fight.
- Groups of rabbits don’t have to be made up of an even number of bucks and does; in fact, a group consisting of more males than females works best. Giving the group plenty of living space will help to prevent friction.
