Remember a Charity Week
Wood Green is a proud member of Remember a Charity - an organisation made up of over 150 charities that aims to raise awareness about leaving gifts in wills to charities.
This year’s Remember a Charity week (11-17 September 2017) campaign is the most ambitious yet as they take legacies on tour to five national cities and broadcast nationwide throughout the week, uniting charities and their supporters with their desire to make a positive difference in the world. Supporters will be urged to have their say on the world they want to pass on, setting out their vision for future generations and sharing it on social media using #HaveYourSay.
To help raise awareness of how life-changing a legacy can be, DJ Emperor Rosko has come out of retirement to launch the Last Pirate FM radio station. You can listen here and even take part in the show too by having your say about the world you want to pass on.
Gifts in Wills make the world of difference to the lives of injured and abandoned pets here at Wood Green. From life-saving basics like specialist food, medicine and shelter, through to our state-of-the-art surgery and animal ambulance, gifts in wills transform the lives of vulnerable and homeless pets.
If you’re looking to make or update your will, as a Wood Green supporter, you can also access a discounted will-writing service from The Goodwill Partnership.
