Join us on 7th July for our Animal Fun Day!

10.00am - 4.00pm

*Please note that we are expecting the weather to be warm at the weekend. Please consider the comfort and safety of your dog especially elderly dogs, long haired dogs and puppies. There will be various water points and shaded areas for your dog to relax and cool down but please consider leaving your pets at home if the weather becomes exceptionally warm. No pets must be left in cars on the day.*

Wood Green, The Animals Charity will be holding their annual Animal Fun Day on Sunday 7th July and are inviting families as well as those who have rehomed an animal from them to join the activities at their Godmanchester centre.

The day’s highlights will include a fun dog show with classes such as best rescue dog and best child handler; dog agility and school for dogs; and a chance to meet a range of animals from goats to gerbils! There will be scheduled tours of our rehoming sections, animal feeding times and ask the experts advice.

Shepreth Wildlife Park will be joining the fun by bringing along some creepy crawlies, South Wales Police will be putting on a horse and dog display, and you’ll have a chance to meet the crew and see one of the engines from Huntingdon Fire Station.

Admission is just £2 for adults with accompanied children free, and the day runs from 10am – 4pm. Dogs are also welcome to attend on a lead. Admission prices apply to all visitors to the centre on this day unless you have a scheduled appointment to rehome an animal.
