Volunteers are an essential part of our team and Wood Green Animal Shelters would greatly benefit from your energy and commitment. To join in, call us today on 08701 90 40 90 or email.
Our volunteers need to be 18 years old or over and we aim to provide the necessary training, supervision and experience to ensure that they are competent and happy in their chosen areas.
Why become a volunteer? As a volunteer you are one of a key group of people playing a valuable role in the charity and helping to improve the lives of lost and unwanted animals. You can also learn valuable skills that you can apply in every day life.
What will I gain from volunteering? There are many benefits to becoming a volunteer at Wood Green Animal Shelters. The chance to meet a new circle of friends, working with staff and other volunteers with a similar interest in animal welfare. On becoming a volunteer you will be given a health and safety induction and also offered ongoing training in your chosen area which will provide you with important transferable skills.
What can I do? We have a variety of volunteer roles that you can become involved with.
