We have a state of the art new cattery to house the cats waiting to be rehomed. Volunteers are needed to help make the cats’ stay with us as pleasant as possible. This involves a number of different duties, such as:

• Assisting staff with daily cleaning and feeding routines. This would involve emptying litter trays and assisting where necessary.

• Grooming cats to ensure emotional and physical we-being.

• Socialising more nervous cats and those which prove difficult to rehome.

• Socialising kittens to get them used to being regularly handled and examined.

• Assisting with health checks and administering of treatments once more experienced

• Queue filtering in reception which would mean directing people around site, answering basic enquiries and assisting with paperwork where required.

• Home fostering (if registered with the foster circle) for more problematic or ongoing cases.

• Rehoming cats which would be more “office and customer” focused rather than actual handling.
