London Shelter
Wood Green Animal Shelters first opened its doors of the London Shelter in 1924 and the Shelter is still fully functional today. The house in Lordship Lane, Wood Green provides a donation based veterinary facility for the local community. The Shelter in North London has recently been redeveloped with a brand new hospital, reception and consulting rooms. A new rehoming area has been built at the back of the London Shelter which is now open and is looking for new homes for the cats that have already arrived and are looking for that special family. The rehoming area is open between 10am and 4pm, if you would like to visit the Shelter to see the cats please make an appointment by calling 08701 90 44 40.
