This handsome horse is looking for his forever companion home. He came into the Shelter due to his companion passing away. He needs a confident handler and would prefer a home where he can live out with a roomy field shelter, however he can also be stabled. He sadly cannot be ridden due to an old knee injury.

Merlin (37741)
Breed: Shetland
Age: 8 years old
Sex: Male (gelding)
This little munchkin is looking for a loving new home where he can be a companion only. He would not be ideal for a children’s pet as he can be strong to handle so would be best suited to adults. He is good for the farrier, likes being groomed and has a heart of gold.
Merlin has had laminitis in the past so will need a strict management routine to prevent this re-occurring. He also has sweet itch but this is currently under control. If you can offer a knowledgeable home to this loveable chap then please contact the field staff. |

These tiny little bantam hens are looking for a new pet home, they can either be rehomed as a whole group or in two groups of four. They are flighty little birds so would prefer experienced new owners.

Breed: Soay Sheep
Age: various
Sex: Males (neutered) and Females
This beautiful flock of sheep are looking for their forever home preferably with someone with experience of the Soay breed. They can be flighty by nature so an understanding of them is essential. Another group of Soay’s in the home would be perfect for them to be introduced too. They all have good temperaments, but again due to their breed, they are not tame ‘pet’ sheep.

Sex: Male (gelding)
This little man is Blackjack. He is looking for a companion only home where he can have his grazing monitored to prevent him getting laminitis. He needs an adult handler as he can be strong. He is not broken although enjoys being exercised in hand and loves going over small trotting poles. If you can offer this pony his forever home please contact the field section.

Breed: Golden Guernsey Goats
Age: 9 years and 6 years old
Sex: Female
These wonderful girls have returned to the shelter through no fault of their own. Whilst Helen is known to enjoy a scratch and fuss Hazel is nervous of strangers. They are looking for a peaceful forever home together. Both goats are confident when mixed with other goats and when in a large group are content to do their own thing.

Yaske and Sally are looking for a very loving home together. They arrived at the Shelter a little under the weather, but with lots of TLC are now ready to move onto new surroundings. They do have some minor health issues which staff would be happy to discuss with any potential rehomer. Sally can be nervous until she gets to know you, while Yaske is the brave one who is very gentle and loves a fuss.They would prefer a nice quiet home where they can put their feet up in style and also enjoy a routine. This lovely chap is looking for a new loving home with other goats. Despite his initial nerves from being kept alone and being known to jump in his previous home, Ben has come on in leaps and bounds! He has intergrated fully with other goats and is able to roam in the paddock as part of the group. He does need a new home where he can have time to bond with new keepers as he does need a one to one relationship with people. Ben loves following other goats around during grazing time and is happy to come running into the play area at night time for his tea.

This handsome man came into the Shelter when he was found as a stray. Barney is looking for a new loving home where he can find new goats for company. He was nervous when he first arrived, however, he is now happy to come to staff for food and enjoys the occasional scratch. He can be playful so would need like minded companions for running, jumping, leaping and sunbathing!

Breed: Toggenburg Cross-breed Goats
Age: 2 years old
Sex: Male
These gorgeous goats are looking for a spacious, well fenced, loving home. Milo, Charlie and Harvey prefer an independent home where they can play and enjoy their paddock.
Since they have returned to Wood Green they are starting to enjoy more attention from the staff and are quite happy to share their field with new goats coming in.
