We usually have some ex-battery chickens looking for a home. The girls are around 18 months old and become friendly very quickly. In return for a safe house at night and some room to have a scratch and walk around during the day, they will provide eggs and their entertaining characters. Shiver, Reuben and their six ewes are looking for a home together. They are a pretty group of Shetland cross sheep looking for a large field to chill out. Shiver is getting more and more friendly and he wil happily lead his girls into the shelter for a bucket of feed. Reuben is little more weary after loosing his brother but is gaining confidence with the help of the flock.

Troy and Dali are a 10 year old pair of Pygmy cross goats. These sweet boys are looking for a loving home with lots of things to climb on and play with. Although they have impressive horns they don't like to use them on their friends, preferring a stroke and some fruit! Billy and Gruff are a pair of Anglo-Nubian goats who are the best of friends. Gruff is a stronger goat who will need a competent handler, and both boys will require experienced foot trimmers due to some issues with their feet. This lovely group of Golden Guernsey crosses is Fern, Suede, Bramble and Silver Birch. They are 3 girls and one little boy, all of whom are quite shy at the moment. Their ideal home is with a new owner willing to spend some time bringing them round, we feel that with time and patience their confidence will grow and the owners hard work would be rewarded.
