Maisie
Maisie first came to Wood Green on September 27th, 2011 after her owners handed her in as they didn't have enough time for her.
When we were told some people didn't like her ears we were really surprised as we fell in love with her ears they make Maisie who she is! We first met Maisie on December 4th, she looked very sorry for herself, curled up in her bed in the kennel. She had been at Wood Green for just over 2 months and we really could not understand why.
We took her for a walk and we all fell in love with her. We then brought our other dog Bob to meet her which went really well. After the home visit we were able to take her home on December 10th, she was really good in the car on the way home and settled in really quickly. She loves her long walks in the fields and chasing sticks but also loves her sleep. Her favourite thing to do is to cuddle up on the sofa with Bob after having her mad 10 mins running around the garden.
We really can't imagine life without her now! We feel really lucky to have rehomed such a wonderful little girl. At night as we go to bed (she sleeps in my daughters bedroom) she sits there and moans and digs at her bed trying to get the duvet over her untill you cover her. She has always slept all through the night and knows when it's time to get up and have her breakfast in the mornings.
Thank you Wood Green for looking after her so well during the time she was with you and for giving us the opportunity to give this wonderful little girl her forever home.
