Special blessing to celebrate all pets

Animals great and small took part in Wood Green’s second annual Pet Blessing.

The event took take place at the Charity’s Heydon Centre in Heydon, Hertfordshire on June 23^rd where families were singing hymns and having their animals blessed by the Revd Andy Colebrook.

Heydon Centre Manager Gay Baxter said: “It was a very special occasion where we blessed the animals and all those who care for them. Guests included Noah the donkey, two horses, dogs and cats.”
