Wood Green offer ‘rescue packages’ following blaze
Wood Green, The Animals Charity is offering ‘rescue packages’ to brides and grooms hit by the devastating blaze at Chilford Hall on Wednesday.
The Charity in Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire was very sad to hear of the demise of the 18th Century barn in Linton and hopes to be able to help couples who now find themselves without a venue by offering special discounts and packages.
Director of Business Development and Trading, Tina Jeffery said: “Chilford Hall was a fabulous venue for all kinds of events and our thoughts are with the owners and staff as well as all those who had booked their events and functions with the venue. We would like to offer assistance, a warm welcome and an excellent service to the people who may be looking for an alternative venue, from civil marriages, wedding receptions and conferences to exhibitions and large public events, we are on hand to take any enquiries.”
The Charity is also offering discounted room and arena hire.
Wood Green is one of few venues within Cambridgeshire with the facilities to allow weddings to take place outside. The Garden Pavillion offers the perfect outside location for civil ceremonies while the Refectory accommodates receptions of all sizes with views of the paddocks.
