Dennis Baker OBE

Chief Executive

Dennis has been the Chief Executive of Wood Green Animal Shelters since June 2000.  He is responsible to the Board of Trustees for the leadership and management of all three of Wood Greens sites.

The Key roles for the Chief Executive are:

• To formulate the charity's philosophy and strategies and to achieve its objectives and targets
• To manage the Charity in line with the Board of Trustees' policies
• To ensure the Board of Trustees receive all relevant information to advise the Board and to help it fulfil its functions.

Before joining Wood Green Animal Shelters Dennis was a Group Captain in the Royal Air Force.  He owns a black labrador called Gibson.
