Pets very quickly become an important part of an individual's or a family's life.  When someone has to go into hospital for a period of time, or a family is going through a period of difficulty, meaning they are struggling to care for their pets it creates additional stress at what is already a difficult time.

Wood Green Animal Shelters have a scheme which helps to assist families and pets in need.  The Fostering Circle is designed to help anyone suffering personal, financial or medical problems, who have a short-term need for help looking after their pet.  This service has often been requested of the Shelters by local authority agencies and the general public, and now we have the resources to offer assistance.

Wood Green will supply all equipment, food and bedding and we will collect and deliver the animal if required.  For the animals' benefit, this type of fostering will not be long term, we would ideally be looking at 2-4 weeks.
