Our volunteers need to be 18 years old or over and we aim to provide the necessary training, supervision and experience to ensure that they are competent and happy in their chosen areas.

Godmanchester Shelter Volunteer Vacancies

School Education Volunteers
Key Activities: Assisting with and delivering Shelter tours and education sessions to schools and groups throughout the local area. See role description for more details.

Skills/Experience Required: Must be aged 21 or over with proven experience of teaching children in a school setting.
 
Time/ Location:  Weekdays mostly term time around Godmanchester and surrounding areas.

Education Events Assistant
Key activities: Assisting with family education activities at events and workshops throughout the local area. See role description for more details.

Skills/ experience required: Must be aged 18 or over and with strong communication skills.
