Supporter Groups are the lifeblood of Wood Green Animal Shelters. They help the animals in our care by raising funds and awareness for our work. They do this through volunteering, running stalls and attending events throughout the region. You can help the groups in many ways, through running a stall, shaking a tin or volunteering in one of our shops.

There are currently 23 Supporter Groups, for details on the locations of these groups please contact the Fundraising department on the number below.

The groups in Sandy and Godmanchester are our charity shops and are always on the lookout for volunteers to help.

Volunteers

Our volunteers need to be 18 years old or over, we ask that our volunteers try to come in for at least one morning or afternoon per week so that our staff, and other volunteers can get to know them. In return we aim to provide volunteers with the necessary training, supervision and experience to ensure that they are competent and happy in their chosen areas.
