We feel teaching responsible pet ownership at a secondary age will lead to a new generation with the skills and knowledge to raise welfare standards for companion animals in the future.
Our sessions support key strands of Every Child Matters and work related learning across both key stage 3 and 4, plus every session is adaptable to individual class or group needs.
Why not join us in raising aspirations and book a ‘Careers with animals’ experience day, during which students will meet and get hands on working alongside Wood Green staff in a variety of different job roles. Or if you can’t get to one of our centres, why not book an assembly or an individual class workshop to raise awareness of animal needs? Details of a selection of our sessions can be viewed below:

We ask for a donation of £2 per student for tours of our Cambridgeshire centre.
