Celia Waldron - Chairman of Trustees
Despite following her Air Force husband around the world they have usually managed to have some pets. Married with two children, three grandchildren and a fourth on the way, Celia and her husband have settled in Cambridgeshire and run a small livery yard.
Janet South - Vice Chairman
Before her marriage, Janet worked for the World Health Organisation’s Malaria Eradication Programme in the Congo. Her main career was with the international charity Age UK.
Colin Alder - Chairman of Trading Company
Colin has a business background in sales, marketing and general management with Unilever. He has a longstanding interest and concern for animals and their welfare and has been a valuable member of Council since his election.
John Cousins - Treasurer
John had a long career in banking, having been a Director of Hong Kong Bank London and specialising in large corporate credits at HSBC Holdings.
Caroline Manser is a veterinary surgeon, owning her own practice until 2009, and now works as a locum in a small animals practice.
Pam is the proprietor of a kennels, cattery and grooming centre, specialising in nursing and aftercare. She is a Director of Pet Care Trust, Pet Care Association, Pet Index, British Dog Groomers Association and the British Kennel and Cattery Association.
Jan has been an active supporter of the Charity for many years, as Secretary of the North Herts Volunteer Group since 1994 and a member of the Animal Welfare Advisory group since 2004.
