Wood Green Talks
We actively encourage visitors to our Shelters in Godmanchester and Heydon. Entry and parking are free - we are open to visitors between 10am and 4pm every day, (except Christmas Day and Boxing Day.)
Our Shelter in Godmanchester is one of the largest animal rehoming centres in Europe and boasts extensive modern animal care facilities including a heated kennel block and purpose built cattery. We also have a Coffee Shop, Pet and Gift Shop, Thrift shop, picnic site, lake, children’s play area and recently refurbished water garden. The majority of the site is accessible to wheelchair users.
The cats, small animals and staff at our Shelter in Heydon love to welcome visitors too. They also have a Thrift shop, selling donated books, bric a brac and other donated items. The shop is open Wednesday 10 am -2pm and Saturday and Sundays 10 am - 4 pm

Please note Bus tours and groups are requested to call telephone 08701 90 32 33 to discuss catering arrangements.
Talks at your Group
Subject to availability of speakers we are always delighted to be invited to attend local groups to talk about our work. We do request a voluntary donation to cover the time and expenses involved or request the group become actively involved in fundraising for us. We are not normally able to travel further than 20 miles from the Shelter.
Please note that due to our limited resources we are unable to offer talks to children under the age of seven.
For further information about inviting a speaker to your group please contact Wood Green on 08701 90 40 90 or click here info@woodgreen.org.uk
